A preview of an Internet Training Center with Learning Now v1
The Education Center is divided in various training sections, each targeted to its own specialized audience. The center can include unlimited amount of sections, courses and presentations. There are no limits either to the number of students that can be registered. Each entry is logged on the main server, as well as each student’s progress. These logs can be used to generate all sorts of evaluation reports.
Present concept: The current layout and design was created for a targeted audience of illiterate or semi-illiterate adolescents and young adults without any computer experience. This explains the simple, basic graphic interface based on icons and images. All layouts of menus and areas can be easily edited and transformed to present the options available to the students in forms of lists and menu items, depending on the Center’s needs and preferences in designs and layouts, and the degree of experience of the students.
Browser settings and connection: Before you start, make sure that your browser is set to allow pop-up windows for this site. Also, check to confirm that pop-ups open in a new window and not in a new tab.
A high speed connection is highly recommended. The applications have not been tested on slow Internet connection. Each course's data file must be downloaded and installed the first time you enter a course. The Literacy Course data file can take 2 minutes to load, depending on your speed.

The Education Center is currently open to the public only as a demo. It is still under development and testing. Please feel free to go ahead and explore the center. Do not hesitate to send us your feedback. To see the demo in Full Screen, hit the F11 key on your keyboard after the demo is loaded, or expand the window, depending on your browser.
The demo streams sounds and videos. It requires a good connection speed. If you experience a delay and a lack of synchronization with the "instructor", then your connection is too slow.
Latest update uploaded on November, 2010 (see Blog). Warning: All registration logs have been reset on November, 2010. If you have registered prior to this date, you must register again.
If you have entered the demo prior to this date, it is suggested that you clear the cache of your browser first (for Firefox, use menu "Tools - Clear Private data" - or CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE).
Learning Now v1 has been tested with the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Opera. Some verisons of Opera have a bug with Adobe Flash Settings - the settings box appears but is not responsive in any way. Version 11 of Opera seems to work fine!
Gnash player for Linux does not seem to be compatible (as of v. 0.85). Linux users are invited to install the package msttcorefonts for a better display of this site and the demo.
If you receive errors while installing or loading a new course, you might need to clear all Learning Now v1 data files to allow a new install from scratch. Click here to run tool.
You might also want to clear the ES files after using the Wizard and making inapropriate changes. This will get your computer ready for a new install. This tool will not access any other files on your computer.
